Abstract:
On-premises data warehouse solutions are typically a large up-front capital expense which expensive boundaries to expansion. This led my organization to look to the cloud. In this session, I cover the basics of Azure SQL Data Warehouse, its massively parallel processing architecture, and why you should be interested in combining the flexibility and scalability of the cloud with a massively parallel processing data warehouse.
